I just wanted to warn you all about A Step Ahead prosthetics in NY. They have an ad that runs regularly on this board. Anyway, the owner is all about money and not really into helping folks unless you are a world-class athlete that is going to give him recognition. The first thing he does is tell you how bad your current prosthesis is and then promises what he can do for you. He will try and cast you on your first visit so be careful of this. Anyway, if you have a bad experience with them I would love to hear it as it may help me with my impending lawsuit.
