Hello Everyone. My prosthetist took more measurements today and will have my test socket ready Next Thurs. I am so excited and can't wait. The people that make this new knee from Freedom-innovations are going to be here also and the knee will be attached to the test socket and I'll get to walk on it and see how the test socket feels and if any adjustments need to be made. If everything is ok I will get to take it home for a few days and then if no problems they will make the new socket. My prosthetist says I'm kinda ahead of the game since I had been a below the knee before the revision to above the knee and the fact that I have good balance on the one leg. I will let ya all know what I think about this new knee even though I don't really have anything to compare it to. All I care about is getting up and walking again. Ya'll take care and I'll be checking in soon.
