I got connected with DS because I have Multiple Sclerosis, but our 3 year old daughter was born with PFFD (Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency). She has a very short right leg and no hip joint. She currently has her foot, but amputation of her foot is a possiblity because her leg is so short. She is currently doing amazingly well on a very large built-up shoe, but this will not work for her indefinitely. I just wondered if anyone here has PFFD or is familiar with it. If so, I would be interested in your treatment/surgery and type of prosthesis. Thanks so much for any input.
