I recently decided to go back to work. Today I got a phone call from from a person I had an interview with. She told me the job was between myself and another person. I was asked to come back in and for another interview. She wants to see if I can walk the stairs (already told her I could), and walk her dog (if needed to do so). This lady is in the Mental Health Services and has her own practice. Obviously I have the job qualifications, I feel she is asking me to do these things because of my prostetic leg and would not ask someone who had two legs. Anyone else had to prove themselves like this to an employer?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
