My mom has Alzheimer's and has had it for the past 4 years. Most recently she cannot remember from one minute to the next. Conversation is basically a repetetive situation. I have planned a trip for her and myself to go to the Caribbean. I know every morning when she wakes up she will not know where she is. It is already a constant reminder that we are going away. I feel it is something that I should do with her and I have a few days off from work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.I figure she will enjoy the beach and pool and some sightseeing because she has in the past. The pictures I take will help to reinforce mememory once we return. Ii will sent some photos and souvenirs to the day program that she goes to that will help reinforce converstaion.
