Is it typical for an AD person to have differing levels of confusion about basic skills like walking? Mom broke her hip 8 weeks ago and walking has become painful for her. Some days she has no idea how to move her feet one time and then no trouble the next time and it doesn't necessarily seem related to her level of pain. She is particularly confused about turning around to be able to sit in a chair. I'm wondering if she's entering the final stage of the disease, and if so, what I can expect the progression to be like.....
