Do any of your loved ones have Dementia w/lewy Bodies??? It is a cross between Alzheimer's and Parkinsons , with symptoms of both. My husbands Alzheimers is the stronger but Parkinsonism has presented itself in tremors and muscle stiffening.
There are eight Dementias and not all Alzheimer's. Although today everyone says Alz as it has become a catchall and all the money and research is for it as it is numer#1. Lewy Bodies is #2, but little research or studies. It all is awful whatever they want to call it.
Treated the same, end result the same but subtle
differences. One of the main ones is the Parkinson like symptoms and that they can not tolerate antipsychotic drugs(would make worse, possibly fatal). Ther are only two that they could take. Fortunately we have not been faced with that as my Rob is as nice as he ever was.........just so-o-o different, but has never been mean before or now. For that I thank God!

My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I love this . Maybe the first page of our book?
Fortunately, Janelle does not exhibit any symptoms of Parkenson's.
Hope your situation does not deteriorate to the same result as Janelle's sister.
