A study published in the October issue of The New England Journal of Medicine reports on 421 patients treated with the \"atypical antipsychotics\" which include olanzapine(zyprexa), quetiapine (Seroquel) and risperidone (Risperdal) and showed NO benefit in alzheimers patients..and IN FACT showed that the risk of side effects/intolerance outweighed ANY possible benefit. Anyone have a family member on any of these drugs? Time to check in with your doc about it....
