Out of respect for the non AAers I did not post this on the other thread. I know for me that I could not have gotten sober without the help of other people who are sober. I needed their suppport to help me through the tough times. Because of their patience and help I very seldom struggle with the thought of drinking or drugging. Today I am now able to share with others what works for me and also suppport them while they do what they think will work for them. The bottom line is- if it is working stick with it, when and if it stops working remember to be open to something else.
