are not due directly to alcohol detox. They are, however, the brain, body and mind trying to compensate for years of being trained to follow a regimen that includes drinking at a certain time, anesthesia for sleep, and, due to the inability of the intoxicated person to see life as it is, not feeling emotion. It's more of a mental detox. The recent reports of sleeplessness, anxiety and depression are more psychosemantic than actually due to withdrawal. This is NOT to say that the years of drinking haven't caused OTHER physiological problems and a doctor should be seen to address these issues. It is extremely important to report your history of alcohol/drug use in order to diagnose properly.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
