I have a son-in-law who admitted to having a problem before he asked my daughter to marry him. At the time he was trying very hard to stay sober. They have now been married for four years and for the most part his drinking has not caused any major problems. He travels for his job and we had known he was drinking than but keeping it under control when he was at home. Things started to get stressful in his job and he was really struggling. He begged his doctor for a prescription for Antabuse but his doctor wouldn't give it to him. Said he was not bad enough yet. I got him an appointment with my doctor and he was given the prescription with well wishes, This was in Febuary of this year and for six months life was good. There was just such a change in him.Than in July, he was on a alcoholic discussion board and someone on there posted that if you take Sudafed it will counteract the effects of the Antabuse and he would be able to drink. Now he is strugging again - wanting to try it. He even went out and bought the Sudafed. (My daughter found it in his Car) This one little statement has taken him many steps backward. Now that he know there is way around the medication he feels he can take the Sudafed and drink when the need gets bad. Has anyone ever heard of this? You would think there would be a warning on the perscription bottle but there is no mention of it. I have searched the internet for an answer. I would love to be able to help him by finding out this is completely false. Can anyone help, "Please" If you know of a web site , have or know of someone that I could get information from. We love the guy and are supporting him but things are starting to get nasty again and my daughter just can't take it anymore. Thanks in advance and my prayers go out to each and everyone of you who are in this struggle. Kneesaa

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
