Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Please help me.....I got quite drunk yesterday and made the stupid decision to get a big bad tattoo on my lower back.....A tramp stamp if you will. Once again I make a stupid decision while I am drunk!!!! So, yes I have decided I really really have to try and quit this alcohol abuse.
So I guess I am saying I need help with 2 things....My alcoholism first and foremost, and advice on getting rid of this tattoo!
I am so sad today.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I reasoned they were less painfull drunk, I believe you can get rid of them with expensive surgery, best cover it up and then try and stay sober so you don't end up with more.
Now if you gave up drinking, you could save enough money to have the tattoo removed, joking sorry.
Yesterday has to be yesterday, all you can starting changing now is today.
Most of us on here have stopped drinking, and we all have found what a wonderfull thing that can be.
Coming here is a great start, then there are AA meetings, your doctor if you need medical help, and lots of other help if you take time now to research.
Many of us have worse things than a tattoo to show for our alcohol filled days, take this as your wake up call, because unlike a hangover, this on eis not simply going to go away.
Who knows in a few years time you might look at your Tattoo, and say thank you, thank you for helping me stop drinking.
As it is the drink that will lead to more tattoo's the tattoo will not.
Ok a foolish thing, but welcome to the first day of your new life
Stay sober

I would have never chosen this. I wanted something much smaller and more feminine.
ive looked into it...its way expensive to get rid of them and maybe one day i will, but for now it is just another reminder for me of how powerless i am...and that is a reminder i need daily!
and it will remind you not to.. xgood luck hunny xx
