Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Ya know what I have decided? All the people that come here come for one reason... they have a problem with grog... And thats fine, ya know what - its absolutely OK. Alcohol can take over a persons life before they have time to even turn around and see it about to hit, so if you find you have a problem with it - you're not alone. Its not just you, its not just me, its lots of people! You (and I) am not some weird arse freak that should be outed from society at all costs... we are normal people who acknowledge and what to get help for a problem we have with alcohol. THIS IS TO BE COMMENDED, not slammed down. We want to recover, we recognise our problem and are taking steps (however small they may seem to us) to address it and deal with it. So it is just breaking my heart to see all the newbie woe is me posts, and even the couple of pity party posts I have placed myself.... We acknowledge and admit our level of defeat in this area and we are making steps to overcome it. This is empowering, encouraging and something to celebrate - not just somethign we should be constantly beating ourselves round the head with and thinking how terrible we are because of.
WE ARE OVERCOMERS! Lets have a celebration party for all heh people who have made there way here, in whatever current state of drinking, they are here, and thats important. Celebration party instead of a pity one tonight please!
Blessings to all. God loves us exactly as we are, and we should love ourselves in our weakness too!
Anyone got a Whoop whoop?

After nearly a week of seeing multiple doctors I finally went to the urgent care again and they did a pelvic exam and knew right away. She did a swab test just to make sure but didn't even wait for the...
