Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I really need someone to remind me why am I doing this. I really, really want a drink so bad. I was going so well I don't want to fail again but it's just so hard I feel like I am going to give in! I really need someone to tell me not to do it!! I have to keep going.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I've said it before: "I wouldn't trade my best day drunk for my worst day sober".
Hang in there, it gets different!
Have you tried AA? There's a lot to be said about drunks helping other drunks stay sober. Who would understand you better than someone who's been there?
When I feel like you, I go for a walk, read a book, clean the bath, through plates at the fence, anything to break the cycle of mental obsession. PLEASE stick with it and let us know how youre doing x
This is your tomorrow if you drink today! and this is mild...you know that!
Call your HP! and let Him have this! Give it to Him! Hand it over!
But as a good alcoholic myself, I went through the same mind destroying crap.
As we go along we get stronger, the more we are sober the more we appreciate the reasons we do not drink.
The main thing is don't come here, call a friend go to a meeting do anything but pick up that first drink.
The last thing any of us needs is reminding, we just need to learn how to live life sober, and put those terrible yaers behind us.
You will, you can, just hang in there it is truly worth it believe me
Thinking of you, good luck
