i'm getting worse. my wife has confronted me a few times about my drinking. Now I'll drink a pint of bourbon while she's in the shower jst to keep it secret. i'm afraid. if i tell her how bad it is, she'll leave. if i keep it quite, how much worse can it get. i've been waking up wih hangovers for years, and every morning i say it's over, but i start all over again in the evening. now it's getting worse. drugs, calling in sick to work. i just want to stop! i feel so alone. i can't talk to anyone.

I have my maxed amount of epidural shots of my cervical DDD....(and no one cares about my lumbar DDD)..... I've done physical therapy, muscle relaxers, Amitriptyline, Nortryptiline, desipramine.....narcotics... So I decided to go to a spine specialist and they have me on Gabapentin. Its been two weeks and it did nothing for my lumbar ever... but it did seem to help my cervical and arm/hand pain...
