Hey y'all... so what do you think about AA and the regligious part of it? Personally I have an aversion. Quick backstory, when I was 9 and my parents divorced my mom became a Jehovah's Witness, my dad objected, they did this whole tug-of-war until I couldn't and still can't stand organized religion. The Elders in the church found out my best friend was getting abused by her stepdad and didn't tell the police or reprimand him, etc. Basically I could use some AA meetings and group fun, but if someone says Lord this, Jesus that, I'm going to lose all interest. Is there something AA-like without being Jesus-y?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
