I have been in and out of AA. When I was out I said never again. But I can't find anything else out there that has regular non-AA meetings. There is one group called women for sobriety. They meet only on Tuesdays. I wish they met more! I have got to get steady support! If AA is it then so be it. But if not, please give me some ideas. AA makes me so depressed! And I want to be able to keep the same friends because they are like family to me. most of them drink though. I want to keep them but just make new sober friends. To all AA members, I don't mean to offend because different people have different reactions to AA. If it works for you that is WONDERFUL. If there is any non-AA advice that anyone can give me please let me know. Thank you!
