I love AA and it is a great way to get our lives back on track and the 12 steps are the perfect way to clean out the garbage so that we can "start" the healing process " ONLY IF DONE CORRECTLY AND VIGEROUSLY ". But however at some point I feel that we need to continue our growth with continuously getting closer to our higher power. I bekieve that AA is just a starting place for us alchies and that there is so much more we can do. I find just in my own opinion that alot of people get complacent and dependant on AA when it is just a starting place. The steps in my belief are just to clean up the garbage so that we can start to hear our higher power guiding us. That little voice in the head which we call the committee will start to quiet down more and more as we sober and then when we meditate we will be able to hear our higher power more clearly. By all means I am not knocking AA or judging any one I am just trying to spark some peoples interest and see how others feel about this theory. Please let me know if you agree or disagree!

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
