Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
You should check it out. It helped me a lot even when I didn't want it - it was there. There's alot of people who care.
Be strong!!!
See you there hopefully.
I'm a yoga teacher and have practiced yoga for over 25 years. I can recommend it for bi-polar regulation and I've had several students who have very good results with a regular yoga practice (3 times a week). Yoga works on all the body systems, but it has the most profound effect on the nervous system and endocrine system (thyroids, pineal, pituitary glands, etc.), so hormones and especially brain activity can be stimulated and balanced out through yoga postures. There is emphasis on the spine, which is where the nervous system is located. Most doctors that treat bi-polar, and honestly, most doctors in general do NOT take exercise and nutrition courses in their medical school training. They are about drugs -- legal, of course (although whether they should be legal is an entirely different discussion).
Peace.
