Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I was just thinking that I am really grateful that I made it through another day sober. (18 days today)and that I found a community of others alcoholics that I can relate to either here or in AA meetings. I am thankful for my friends that are supporting me staying sober. I am grateful that God has brought me here to this point in my life. I hope I learn somthing from the pain and that I stay sober. When I think about what I am grateful for it helps me feel better...so I thought it might be cool to find out what everyone else is grateful for too...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I have a lot to be grateful for, including knowing to be grateful. I have 2 young children, they're amazing children and I'm grateful to be able to recognize that. They still want to be around Mommy, I'm grateful for the recognition that I want to spend time with them now while they want my company.
While I'm not really happy with my job now, I'm grateful that I have a job, and it is a bit flexible so I could go on interviews.
I could go on, but I'll leave it at that for now....time to get ready for work.

Gratitude is God for me.
Secondly, I am grateful I have a warm bed, food in my cupboards and a roof over my head.
Thirdly, I am grateful for the blessings God give us each and every day.
