I went to the doctors on Friday for bloodwork (liver enzymes and such). I'd had a cough for a few days, but I chalked it up to smokers cough, seeing as though I felt (bodily) fine. I walked out of the office with a script for prednisone, 2 inhalers, antibiotics, and cough meds. Seems like I have pneumonia! Now please let me add that I've had pneumonia SEVERAL times when I was using drugs years ago. Not so often when it was alcohol by itself. I came home with all of the meds, was okay on Saturday, then couldn't get up from the couch ALL DAY yesterday and this morning. I am sick sick sick. I feel terrible, with body aches, and hot/cold sweats, my chest feels like its on FIRE!, I am just so friggen miserable, I can't even stand MYSELF, never mind anyone else. I have not had an alcoholic drink in 15 months, this is the first time I've had so much as a cold!, I don't know how to handle it. I feel like such a big baby. I also got incredibly BAD and unexpected results for one of the blood tests,(not relating to the liver), I'm not ready to share - as much as I NEED to so badly. Maybe later though. Please feel free to yell at me for having so much self-pity right now. Others have like, REAL problems, and I'm boo-hooing because I'm sick!!!! Thanks for letting me vent! Mich

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
