all i can say is that my dog is the best. this may seem kind of off topic, but as far as someone who is there 24/7, regardless of what you do. someone who likes you better sober, but will still snuggle with you when drunk. someone who's eyes say it all when you crack that 30th beer and they just look at you and you see yourself reflected in their eyes and you know they're thinking "didn't i just listen to you say last night was the last night...?" someone who will never ever pressure you to drink, and who will stay by your side while you detox and who you never have to explain yourself to...dogs are awesome. my dog has been some of the best therapy i've had in years and years.
