Going 3 days without drinking isn't new to me. I take 2-3 day breaks often, esp. if I over did it over the weekend & am feeling cruddy from it. Sometimes I even do little health kicks where I might go a week or a couple of times almost a month.
But I decided to go to my "ladies night" last night. It's a great group of lady friends that just get together - usually on Tuesdays but it's sparatic, just whenever someone offers to host. Everybody brings food and wine & just talks about life & whatnot. Last night was to watch election results. And I was happy to come with a big bottle of kombucha. Another lady there wasn't drinking and shared it with me. It was wonderful to see my friends, get support for what I'm going through & not worry about needing to drink. And it was great to be able to drive home not worried that maybe I had a little too much or that I might be pulled over. So far so good & I'm feeling happy about my new lifestyle chioce. Treating my body right feels good. :)
when someone likes anything on DS there is no way to know who liked it and what the heck good is it to have a like button that nobody knows who has submitted their like?we used to get notifications when someone liked something we wrote or put into our journals....and I think before we could hover over the like button with 3 likes and see who had put that they liked our post or journal or...
I am ready to stop. Who wants to help me?
