Today at our noon meeting this kid walked in... I would say he was about 19 to 29 years old he was dressed is what I call skater cloths consisting of torn jeans old T-shirt and DC sneakers ... As he walked in and sat down he set his ride next to him (a skate board).... We were talking about step three.... He shared that he had really not had a belief in any thing as far as a God... And he said that when he first came to AA he was wondering how to give his will to so some thing he did not understand....And he also explained that he had to lose every thing before he could give his will over to a HP.. Because had he had any thing left he could say he still had something... Than he said that his first sponsor asked him this... If there are 3 frogs sitting on a log and one thinks about jumping off the log how many frogs are left on the log... His response was there are 2 left... And his sponsor said not there are 3 left on the log because the one was only thinking about jumping off... And that made sense to him and he found his HP.. I thought that was cool.. And he triggered allot of thought in me.. As we went on break I stopped him and told him what a friend had told me about frogs..LOL Forever Relying On God... And we both giggled and he gave me a hug.. And said thank you... Outta the mouths of babes I learn
