Im trying my best to be on the internet this morning. ? Its stormy here..the weather, that is.all is well now between Johnny, me, and his mother. I had a talk with her yesterday, and one with him this morning. That lady really had a hard child life. She said she had to wake up, go to school, work in the field until the sun said it was lunch time, go back to the field until the sun said it was supper time, do homework, house work, and then go to bed. I asked her, So when was it play time? She said, When we got caught up. I said, How often was that? She said, Not very often. There was no money. She said there was a hole in the floor that you could see the chickens running around under the house. There is NO way I could go to sleep with a hole in the floor, because of my fear of snakes. I was talking to Johnny about it. He said, They knew the value of things back then. Im thinking, Yeah, all but the value of a human being. I told Mrs. Mary this morning how important she is to us. She is really a loving soul. I am grateful that God has given me eyes to see the hearts of others.I just wish I could see it before I open my big mouth and insert this big size 9. ? HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU WONDERFUL LADIES HERE WHO ARE VERY DEAR TO MY HEART. WE ARE BLESSED INDEED.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
