A couple of months ago my drinking ended a decent relationship I was in, I didn't love her, but I really did care about her. Regardless, I hate being single, I miss the companionship and the shoulder to lean on. I saw her at that BBQ I went to last weekend and she was completely trashed with some other dude, and she seemed to struggle with saying even two words to me. My attraction to her was completely blown. It made me wonder what I saw in her in the first place besides her good looks, only because when we both met when we were drunk. I guess my problem is that I'm striving for a genuine relationship for once in my life. I know someone is out there, I'm just totally bored, not used to being alone.
