I need to share this as it is the best demonstration of God showing his love through the use of humans that I've heard in a long time. I'm sitting in an AA meeting the other day the call on this old guy who I've seen around a bit and noticed that he really had this amazing faith in God and gratitude gor what he had done for him especially for someone who had only been sober for 18 months. He said that 18 months ago he was laying in the hospital couldn't walk any more and his heart was shot. The doc came to him and said we can help through heart surgey, but we can't do it unless you stop drinking. He replied he was single and had been drinking all his life and wasn't about to stop now. They said well you lay here and think about it over the weekend and we will check with you Monday. On Sunday a bunch of people from heis church cam and visited. They related they liked having him around and wanted him to live. They told him that if he would agree they would cover the cost of his treatment. He agreed they sent him to one of the most expensive treatment centers in the country $1500 a day for over 60 days. One anonomous person in his church covered the cost. the surgery was successful he is sober today and walking without assistance. My God works in mysterious and miraculaous ways

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
