Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I agree with Phil, once you've worked the steps it's time to start living the life you've been missing out on. If you're still making 7-10 meetings a week after you're sober a few years than you're hiding out.
Best wishes to you in your journey.
Did this get me sober.. NO.. Not by itself.. but it certainly did not hurt.
What got me sober was God's grace... a GOOD SPONSOR..12 steps of AA and our Primnary Purpose.
I now attend 2 meetings per week at the local detox.. one in a small town near my trailer at the lake and our F2F Big Book study...
I also do some online stuff like this and the chat room on my home groups site >
