i will be leaving for my meeting in a short while and thought i would say "thank you" to all who have participated in my recovery with me. today is day 30. you have helped me find a solution, offered encouragement, commiserated during difficult times. i have a long road ahead of me but that in and of itself is miraculous. i have a path, a journey, a chance. in case any of you ever wonder if you've made a difference in an alcoholic's life simply by typing messages of experience, strength, and hope on a keyboard i say this: you made a huge difference in this alcoholic's life and i thank you.
