Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

And if you want, contact me, or read my journal!
start by getting into some kind of treatment or group. for me i got into an outpatient program. this is a group that meets four or five days a week for three to six hours. it is a very good place to start. talk to your doctor, maybe they can get you started. if that is not an option, just jump into aa. go online and find a meeting in your area. there are meetings everywhere. i'm sure you can find one close to you. when you do, just go. when you get there, share with the other members who you are and what you need help with most. most importantly, get phone numbers. you will need these when you really want to drink. those people will be your lifeline. i would start with an outpatient program of some sorts first. this will give you some structure and a sense of being. it takes awhile to get to know your group members, but when you do, everything will fall into place. once you go a few times, it will feel comfortable and you will look forward to it. good luck, and if you need any support, i'll be here for you. you can do it. oh, i'm sorry, but if your doctor can't help you, call your local crisis line and tell them what you need. i have faith in you. there is no need to be alone in this, if no one else, you have someone, and that is me. look forward to hearing from you.
