He couldn't help it. He's an addict... That was the message I got about sex addiction when I watched the Nancy Grace show. They were talking about this guy named Phillips of ESPN who is involved in a sex scandal with a 22 year old woman (he's 46). Just as I tuned into the program I heard some addiction expert claim that sex addiction was different from womanizing because sex addicts have an impairment of critical brain functions to control their sexual impulses, while womanizers are completely in control of their faculties. So this guy is checking himself into rehab. I'm personally getting really annoyed by this notion that addiction of any sort involves some kind of mental brain impairment. A bad, selfish, compulsive habit is just that. The road to recovery involves learning to take responsibility for your habits and learning some impulse control. It works for me. Why shouldn't it work for others?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
