I am fireing my sponsor, I still like him but he tells me one thing and does another. I am supposed to let go of my problems to my higher power, and not let them eat me up. He on the other hand has let his spec house depress him and worry him to abstraction. I started helping him with the house, but I have gotten to the point where I hate to see him, because he is stressing about the house, and that is all we talk about. We have not done any work on my steps and I am stalled and have developed a resentment about it. He has blamed the delay on my step work on my wife and then made an amends to me the next day. To me this is personalities before principles, and I figure ultimately this is all my fault for not pushing my sobriety agenda. I have one person I talked to about this, and he is surprised we made it this far. I don't talk about this around here much as it's a small town and the rumors spread like wild fire. I just needed to vent a bit. Now I have to find a new sponsor and I will be very careful picking one. Any one want to sponsor a whack job like me???

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
