I really like the goal makers on DS, but I'm torn over the days of sobriety one. I guess it motivates some and frustrates others. I think it's sad for folks that relapse to have to loose all those days. They were still days of sobriety even if they were not in a row. I know for me at the beginning 2 days sober out of the week was an acommplishment, but now the amount of days is not a big deal to me. Someone on the main board called someone out on the accuracy of their counter saying something like "your counter said X amount of days and now says Y amount of days, you need to start being honest." I'm wondering if this was helpful for that person or made them even feel more ashamed of themselves.... I think We really should be proud of each and every day we went without a drink whether they were in a row or not. Sometimes it starts as baby steps.

I drank again yesterday (all day). Got into a fight with my husband and now he wants nothing to do with me. I don’t even know if he wants to be with me anymore. I have no support system and no one to help me when I get triggered. I am in a bad place. I have no one to help me with my kids and I have over the top stress and anxiety. I’m lost and I feel like a lost cause.
