I am learning a lot here, and I thank each and everyone of you for the great support you give! I was wondering if anyone knows of any over the counter vitamins that can help with the anxiety and restlessness I experience when I go sober for a couple of days. I feel if I can level this "swing" my self-recovery will be emotionally easier.

Not sure about vitamins, but their are herbs that have claims of helping you sleep better. Anxiety is a hard one to deal with, and I'm still struggleing with is even with meds. I know alcoholics are often vitamin B deficient. I need to take those early in the day because they add to my nightime anxiety if I take them late. If you find anything out please let us know.

I guess that explains why having a Rockstar seemed to be the best hang-over cure for me.... its loaded with all the Bs. Thanks for your input!

Yah I've heard caffien is good for one too. I'm not sure why cause it's a diuretic.

My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
