My husband has been sober for 3.5 years now, but our relationship sucks. We are like roomates instead of spouses. I have some questions... why doesn't he want to include me in anything? He says things like "I am going to the gym, I am going to the movies after my meeting" I am a stay at home mom of our 3 year old special needs son. I work part time and teach an exercise class. He doesn't think that my exercise class is work and that should be sufficient for "my time alone". He doesn't get it. Even though it is fun, it is still my job. Is it typical for a recovering alcoholic to be so selfish and oblivious to our marital problems?
