Hi, after 6 long years of TTC my husband and I have decided that being paretns is more important than having babies so we are starting the our program in November. We are already home study approved. We started this process a few years ago and got side-tracked a little bit but we are now back on board and very nervous and excited about the future. I was wondering from anyone else who is adopting or has adopted from the foster care system what to expect? We have opted for any race and willing to take sibling groups in order to get a children as young as possible. From what I have been told the younger they are the better in terms of their emotional baggage. I am concerned about what kind of emotional and mental problems that we may encounter. Any advice and wisdom is very much appreciated. :)
