Hi, my husband and i have to go to court on the 29th of october to make our 9 yr old foster son a permanent ward. We have to go to trial for his bio mother doesn't want to give up rights, but she had no problem giving up rights to her other children including the daughter we have (sister to the 9 yr old) she's been permanent since she was 2 yrs old, so in some ways i'm hoping that it's going to be easier than i'm anticipating, but also she doesn't have a lawyer yet that we've heard of..so she might end up asking her own question..which in someways will be a little nerve wracking...anyways, i'm just wondering if any of you have advice for me and my husband to better prepare ourselves for that day!
