Does anyone know what kind of emphasis is put on the physical examination that is required for the initial paperwork? I met with the counselor quite a while ago to start the adoption process. Since recieving the paperwork, I've been having serious enough back problems that I have been unable to work for the past month and a half and have spent a great deal of time in and out of doctor offices trying to find and fix the problem. Should I continue to stall putting in my paperwork until my back issues have been resolved? Would our application be denied at this time because of this? I am appehensive about saying anything to the counselor.
