Adoption Support Group
Adoption is the legal act of permanently placing a child with a parent or parents other than the birth parents. Whether you are looking to adopt, putting your child up for adoption, parenting an adopted child, or just thinking about it, this is the place to discuss.

I gave my baby boy up for adoption, he was born 27/06/1978 at Nambour Hospital in Qld, Australa.
Every day since then I wonder what he is like, what he is doing, if he is well.
But I am scared to try to find him for fear of rejection. But I need to know he's ok in himself.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I would recommend that you really pray about what you should do. You might be rejected. But, he might be looking for you, too.
I wanted to have contact with my birthfather; he wanted nothing to do with me, and he passed away a couple of years after I showed up in my birthmothers life. It hurt, but it was his loss.
My prayers are with you that you have peace about the way you are supposed to go regarding your son. Keep me posted.
Blessings,
Jan
