Its been 8 months since I found my b-mother although we haven't yet met. When i first found her she told me that no-one was aware of my existence (the only person she had ever told was her husband) I never asked to her to tell her family but she brought it up in conversation and said that she was going to tell them because it wasn't fair on me to keep my existence a secret. Her parents are no longer alive but her sister ( and other relatives) is and she told me that she wanted to tell her face to face (b-mother lives in UK, her sister is in France) So anyway when she told me back in Easter that she was going to her home town in France for a holiday I presumed she would take to opportunity to meet up with her sister and tell her. This never happened, she didn't even tell her sister she was going and when I asked her about it on her return she told me to stop putting her under pressure and she didn't need me making her feel more guilty. I was really angry as I felt she had lied to me but I told her that I wouldn't mention it again (which was a very hard to promise) Anyway she called me last weekend and she is going to France again today. As we were chatting quite comfortably I thought I would just ask her outright if she had any intention of telling her family. Well the answer was basically NO. I don't understand, why would she lie to me? Why would she tell me she was going to (when I never even made the suggestion) if she obviously never had any intention. I feel so hurt and angry, she sits there talking on the phone about "my aunt" and "my cousin" etc and I told her that as far as I was concerned they weren't my family as they didn't know about me and I was never going to get to meet them. She wants to a part of my life, and a part of my childrens (her only grand-children as I was her only child) yet she won't let me part of my family. I am trying to get over this but I can't

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
