So when I was out to dinner with my family tonight, I could not concentrate on the conversations they were having, but I was very attentive to my surroundings. I kept on blocking out what was happening right in front of me, but stared off into the distance, watching other people. I do this a lot, does anyone else? Is it related to ADD or is it just something I do? haha It bothers the heck outta me!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Sometimes if I am in a large group, I will lose focus on what is being said and then I will say something that is completely out of context.
Everyone will look at me as though I am out in left field, which in a way, I guess I am.
Sometimes, I get really depressed about it. For this reason, I tend to keep to myself a lot.
My son takes medication for his ADD symptoms. He says that it really helps with his college classes.
My husband's family is highly social and always have a couple of conversations at least going on at the table, as well as young children babbling away happily. I can not follow conversations for very long, and what I do take in I don't have the energy to respond to or even think about. It's like watching TV really lol
I keep to myself a lot too. Not a talker, though I've been learning to change that, mostly just by talking to you guys.
Good topic, shorty : )
