I have been on Adderall for about four years now, I'm almost 19. My doctor just recently, when I was also diagnosed with Bipolar, switched me to Adderall XR. He also lowered my dose from 30mg of Adderall to 20mg of Adderall XR. He said 20mg of Adderall XR worked the same as 30mg of Adderall, which I don't feel. I feel really different on the entended release. I don't know if it is just me, and after four years I'm being stuborn, but I don't think the extended release work near as well. Plus I have been feeling really nauseous. It might be my new med causing this though. Plus two times I also opened the capsales b.c. it is not working long enough and I needed it longer in the day, so I dump 1/2 in my mouth so that it isn't extended. Is that like taking the reg Adderall? I'm guessing not?
