My son as ADHD and Tourettes this child at school and my son clash so when this child winds up my son he loses his temper and they start fighting my son finds it difficult to control his temper because of the tourettes but the other child is just pure naughty. School dp not except my sons behaviour as part of his condition even though his doctor says it is part of his tourettes and punish my son the same as the child who constantly winds my boy up.
I am at the end of my tether with school not acepting my sons condition
Can any one help with what to do

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
So sorry to hear of your sons predicament. I can fully understand and relate to your story. My son has Tourettes as well and if a child teases/provokes him, he will fight back. As hard as this is to accept, I find that I must let my child deal with his consequences. If I don't, my son would not understand that his actions are not acceptable and would continue to repeat them. In my humble opinion, that is part of the training that works for these children. It is hard for us with our mommy hearts to watch our children have to face the consequences of their actions. Unfortunately, the school is not able to treat your child special due to his condition. I don't mean for this to sound harsh or unfeeling but the other child has rights also. You might want to try reading "The Explosive Child" and "Treating the Explosive Child". Both of these books help in dealing with children like ours. Take care and good luck.
Is this the shaking/jerking sydrome?
