my son has been in public school since K, It has been a nightmare, his K teacher is the one who originally brought up him having ADHD. Then of coarse just suggested medication. I asked the teachers, principles for help, testing, etc. but was told just put him on medication. Which I refused to do. I recently moved and they are a little more helpful at his new school but I still feel like they are always "telling" on him to me. I KNOW the stuff he does...I live it every minute of everyday! I don't need them to point out his imperfections all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions on schooling? Is private better? What type? Homeschooling is not an option, it was something my doctor had suggested. thank you
