my son has always been 'different' but since grades were good - teachers overlooked our concerns. Well - got a real Diag - he has pretty bad ADHD AND he has a very high IQ. Just put on meds - but he still seems to have 'freak out' times when he talks and talks and talks - asking the same question before I can even answer. Hes smart - so he gets mad when the teacher will not call on him EVERY time he knows the answer first. I feel like I am always yelling/correcting him lately....it is also starting to affect his friendships at school.
