Hello I am new to the group... I was just recently told that my 3 year old son shows huge signs of having ADHD. I was wondering what are the signs?
My son is a very busy little boy, he wakes up busy and goes to bed busy.. its like he never loses any engery. Its hard to get him to take a nap, he has trouble following simple steps.. without reminders. He can watch a cartoon and not get up only if its something that he wants to watch. He consit is moving. When he is sitting on his chair usually he is all over on his head... like he has ants in his pants. He runs and shoves me and his brother. He bites the chairs and at times his brother.
I have a routine appointment to see his doctor in the middle of this coming month. His teacher thinks I should look into this and ask his doctor... I know that alot of kids gets told they have ADHD and its over diagonised... so I am confused about if he does or doesnt... I am not going to put him on meds... I do the best I can at parenting being a single mom.
Thanks again... confused

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Maybe pay more attention to what he eats, drinks during the day and night. As far as him only wanting to do or see only what he wants too. What little kid doesnt??? Sounds like a healthy one to me!!
