I Have a 8 yr old Daughter diagnosed w/ADD IA type. Recently, she has been showing signs of ADHD in the classroom and at home. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Dancing in the middle of lecture, running non-stop, talking constantly, feet are constantly moving even when sitting, and the sad part is she usually is so spacey she really has no clue shes doing most of it. She is in the 3rd grade now. She is wanting to make friends now, but can't because most of the girls (and I hate as her mom to say this) just don't want to be around her. They are calling her mean names. Her grades are rapidly falling. We have had problems with behavior in K-2, but her grades have been consistently great. She is highly intellegent and VERY creative. But this year her grades are in failing range or are already failing and it is only the 4th week of school. My husband and I had not really wanted to put her on the medications, but our backs are up against a wall now. We want her to get her grades on track and to get and mantain friendships. What is you input and outtake on this situation?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
