My grandson did not get a note from teacher yesterday. I did not know whether to think he did well or just really to bad to talk about. Well today he got a note that said he was doing better with behaving in class BUT is still wasting time when teacher is in small group and the BIGGIE he got sent to the principal for hitting or trying to hit other little boys in the groin area. He said another boy told him to but I don't know. I tell him not to hit anyone for any reason and he said, " I forgot." He will have to sit out in P.E. for three days since that is where he was misbehaving.
Why can't these people get control of one little boy?

At the beginning of the years we sat down with the teacher and my son and explianed to him how my son is and that if there where problems we needed to know about them that day so that we could deal with it.
Since we started that method with my son things this year have been so much better and he is responding to school and actully likeing to go. Communicate with the teachers because they may not be able to deal with the different needs of each student.
