I have a 5 year old daughter who just started school this year. The teacher told us when she asks my daughter to write a word or do a task she says yes she can do it then when the teacher walks away from her desk, it's like my daughter is lost, like she didn't understand what was just asked of her. Teacher suggested a hearing test, ADD testing an Speech and language therapist. Hearing test was excellent. No problems at all. i'm scared to send her for add testing because I've been hearing alot of negative things about misdiagonosis and bad side effects for medication. My daughter is quite hyper somedays (not as bad as she used to be) alot of her problem started at 3 years old after her baby brother was born. She doesn't listen to simple tasks. Somedays she is good, other days we just can't do anything with her. Defiant some days when asked not to do something , like run up to strangers. She's pushing other kids in school even though we've asked her a zillion times. Sometimes it's like she doesn't understand what we're saying to her. Very bad attention span--sometimes not too bad. ADD testing? or could it be something else? Learning disability? Allergy?? Any information you could pass on would be great. PS she is a pusher too out on the playground and some of the parents are getting upset because she's pushing their kids.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
