My 6 year old son has done various activities including Trampolining, Ice Skating and Swimming. However, I seem to be having a problem at the moment where he will do things for a little while and then it's almost like a brick wall appears and he won't do it anymore. A recent example is his swimming lesson, he progressed to the next stage of swimming. He was over the moon and really looking forward to joining his new class. However, when it came to the Thursday evening and I took him to the pool, he started screaming and crying and wouldn't go and do his lesson. He has so much potential and energy but I just can't get it challened as he refuses to do anything that involves any effort. I'm trying to establish whether this is due to his ADHD and the change or whether it is pure laziness. Has anyone else had the same problems?
